Man in the Box [o+<]

Once again I have made some changes to the layout. I really like this new theme and I think this will work well as a central hub for all my online doings. We recently purchased a house, which caused me to space out when it came to my blogging. I would like to find a site that does more general Apple related news as opposed to strictly iOS. If you happen to know someone as a fun Apple blog, send me a link. Some of my fun projects are linked at the bottom of the page These include:

• The mitb.net Minecraft server – Every nerd should be running their own Minecraft server, and this site is for news related to it.
• Nixon Watch Fortunes – Here is where I catalog all the sayings I have found on the backs of Nixon watches.
• Google Plus – Why isn’t this at the top like Twitter and Youtube? Well to be quite honest Plus isn’t quite up to snuff. There are a lot of things that I do like about it, such as the privacy and group settings, but there is still much to be done before I will find myself using it on a daily basis.

So there you have it. I plan to post more linking to recent blog posts. and the subject will usually be Apple or iOS related. Thanks for watching!

The last test has been completed and all the paperwork is in. In a few weeks I will finally be working as a paramedic. It has been a challenging road, but I look forward to the new challenges that await me every day. When I was younger I never even imagined that I would find the medical field so interesting. From the chance to help people in their most desperate moments, to the problem solving and quick thinking, each day offers a unique challenge.

I want to thank my wife and daughter for the love and support during my education and training. without them I would have failed for sure.

In a related note I though I would post this advertisement for Bakersfield Memorial Hospital that I was in (if only for a second). I didn’t actually know I was going to be in an advertisement when I showed up for work that day.

UPDATE: 1 week as a paramedic and I’m on the news

Today we met the new doctor and had our first look at our new addition. The baby is growing nicely and everything appears to be in order. We were not able to tell if it was a boy or a girl yet since the baby had the umbilical cord in the way! We will be sure to update this post once we know.
