Years ago I painted Octavius from @blackcrowminiatures and mounted him in this lovely wood from @jakobjanssenstudios. A few years later I finished Odin and the piece of wood I got had a little space for one more. Cormac really has been a testament to my painting journey and these busts have pushed me to improve in freehand, lighting, focusing the composition. The Fox in the Forest. Here I was inspired by one of my favorite artists @romanlappat.miniatureart following a tutorial on painting a fox. I picked a different fox model but as soon as I saw it on the rock I knew what I wanted to do. I had these resin bases from @tabletopartshop that had slate looking rocks so I incorporated that along with shelf mushrooms and vines. It was a huge success and one of my favorite pieces I had painted recently. #miniaturespainting #nature #forest #fox #wimsical
