#BaseLair had a painting challenge titled ‘A Focused Mind’. The idea was miniatures not fighting. My immediate thought was of the work ok @morose.miniatures where wargaming miniatures were placed in non combative situations. As I looked through my available parts I noticed the pointing hand and was inspired to curl it into the shape you see. The rest of the miniature’s design flowed from that. The question, in light of the obvious battle that he just fought with the #tyranid less straightforward than it might seem. I always strive to tell stories with my art and I think this one in particular tells a great story. #warhammer40kpainting #diorama #spacemarines
